Description
- This adapter turns your motherboard’s PCIE X1 slot into an M.2 Key M slot for M.2 NVMe SSD installation.|
- Advantage: It uses the free motherboard PCIE X1 slot instead of occupying the X16 slot. Disadvantage: Its maximum bandwidth is limited to that of PCIe X1, falling short of PCIe X4 full – speed.
- No capacity limit for M.2 NVMe SSDs (2T, 4T work). Supports 2230/2242/2260/2280 sizes. New SSDs need initialization and formatting. M.2 SATA SSDs aren’t supported.
- Compatible with Windows 11/10/8, Linux, and Mac OS. Support OS boot from NVMe SSD, except on some old motherboards (usable as storage then). Windows 7 lacks native NVMe driver; download from Microsoft or SSD manufacture site.
- Includes 12cm regular and 8cm low – profile brackets for any PC frame. FCC and CE certified. Get lifetime tech support – contact us for troubleshooting.
